2 kidneys, 1 liver transplantation has successfully done from a brain death person ,3 lives saved

Three people who underwent transplantation from a brain death at this center were discharged safely on Friday ,March 10th,2023. According to the center, for the first time in Nepal's medical history, 68 year old Kiran Thapa of Lalitpur Metropolitan City-25, who received a liver from a brain death, was discharged safely.

Similarly, one of the kidney recipient was discharged on the fifth day and the other kidney recipient from the brain death was discharged safely on the friday.

Since the establishment of this national transplant center in 2012,9 renal and 3 liver transplantation has been successfully done from brain death organ donors.
