AMBASSADORS VISIT TO SDNTC

Ambassador of Australia to Nepal, His Excellency Mr. Peter Graene Budd, Ambassador of Britain to Nepal, His Excellency Mr. Richard Morris and Ambassador of South Korea to Nepal, His Excellency Mr. Park Yong-Sik, on different occasions, made observational visits to the Shahid Dharmabhakta National Transplant center. The Excellencies were enthralled to explore this center and congratulated the Executive Director Dr. Pukar Chandra Shrestha and SDNTC team for the success this center has gained in the field of transplantation. The Excellencies also praised the hard work, team spirit of SDNTC team and were quite impressed how this center has been able to set itself as an example despite of limited space. They also exchanged ideas on how organ donation and transplantation work in their countries and emphasized on the importance of cadaveric (after death) organ donation and transplantation. His Excellency Mr. Peter Graene Budd has already pledged to donate his organs after death by signing an organ donation card in a grand event organized on the occasion of World Kidney Day, 2018 in March.
