Bhaktapur was one of the most harshly hit districts. After the catastrophe, the number of victims scattered enormously with each passing hour for the first 24 hour. Out the medical centers who kept their work going at the normal flow despite the nature’s harsh game, HOTC was one of those. On 25th and 26th April, this center’s hands were full with responsibilities of hundreds of patients who needed emergency medical intervention. Our medical team worked continuously for more than 24 hours without rest and adequate food to provide care. The X-ray department remained unaffected by the catastrophe and remained busy all day and night. Similarly, free services are being provided to the people who suffered from Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) as a result of Crush Injury. Moreover, center has also managed to visit the affected areas and provide relief materials, medicines and supplies to the victims.
