HOTC organized a free health camp in collaboration with Aarogya Foundation, Pyuthan district hospital, and Kalika Bikash Kendra. It took place on Bhadra 24, 2071 in Pyuthan. The camp was targeted for people having kidney related problems around Pyuthan district. 415 people visited the camp and were provided with free health checkups and urine tests. Resulting in 18 people registering for kidney donations.
The free health service camp was assisted with members of the HOTC team which includes Dr. Pukar Chandra Shrestha (Executive Director, HOTC), Dr. Kalpana Shrestha (Consultant Nephrologist, HOTC), Dr. Lusan Singh (Nephrologist), Dr. Birendra Yadav (Urologist), Dr. Binod (Medical Officer), Staff nurse Rakshya Nepal and the Lab Technician Mr. Surendra Yadav.
The camp was followed by an interactive program about organ failure, organ donation, and transplantation with participation from the media, political parties, social workers and medical personnel in Pyuthan.
