HONORARY FELLOWSHIP TO DR PUKAR CHANDRA SHRESTHA

Dr. Pukar Chandra Shrestha, Executive Director of Human Organ Transplant Center, Bhaktapur has been honored with Hon. Fellowship by the Association of Surgeons of India, Punjab State Chapter on Saturday, 24th September 2016 in Jalandhar, India. This has been done amidst a function of 2nd annual conference of Association of surgeons of India, Punjab state chapter in honor of Dr. Shrestha's contribution to organ donation and kidney transplantation in Nepal.
Despite of very limited resources, Dr. Shrestha led Human organ Transplant Center has become busiest center in Asia in the field of Renal transplantation. Beside, within 4years of leadership, Center has successfully conducted more than 200 renal transplantation. Recently, center completed 101 renal transplantation in the fiscal year 2072/73.
