WORLD KIDNEY DAY 2014

Human Organ Transplant Center celebrated World Kidney Day 2014 on Thursday along with free health camp programme at Khulamanch, Kathmandu. A free health camp was organized there to mark this glorious day. Approximately 1000 patients were benefited with the free medical check up.
The function was attended by health minister Mr. Khag Raj Adhikari and foreign minister Mr. Mahendra Pandey, chief secretary Mr. Lila Mani Paudel, health secretary Dr. Praveen Mishra top bureaucrats of health and other ministries, clinicians, artists, politicians, social workers, media personnel and public. The programme was aired live in image FM. President of Aarogya foundation Ani Choying Drolma entertained the crowd with her melodious voice, sang peace song whereas the MaHa pair made the campaign very lively. Sursudha also joined this campaign with their popular musicals.
This year the slogan for Kidneys is, "Your kidney also ages like you".
