EARTHQUAKE RELIEF TEAM AT KHOKANA VILLAGE

HOTC and the Aarogya Foundation are working jointly on relief efforts following the 7.8 earthquake that struck Nepal on 25 May 2015. In Khokana Village of Lalitpur district 65% of homes were destroyed and 9 people were killed. Aarogya Foundation distributed rice, other packed foods and supplies to the village, including medicines that were provided by Chinese donors who are fans of Ani Chhoying Drolma. HOTC doctors conducted a health camp and treated victims of the earthquake. HOTC and Aarogya worked with a sub health post to ensure that victims will continue to receive care after the health camp was finished.
