Prime Minister announced the donation of his body organs after death

January 20, Kathmandu , Honorable Prime Minister , Pushpa Kamal Dahal  Prachanda has announced to donate  his body organs after death.

Addressing a special program organized on the occasion of successful completion of 1,000 kidney transplants by Shahid Dharmabhakta National Transplant  center at Nepal Academy on Friday morning,the Prime Minister said," I announce that I will donate my whole body after my death".He believes that the announcement of organ donation will give positive inspiration to the entire country and people in the field of organ donation and transplantation.

On the occasion ,Dahal also appreciated the role of the transplant center in helping the poor population to get their kidney transplants.

"The center also facilitates liver transplants,' he said ."But ,we also need to make it more modern and effective".
